ABOUT 2019 Miles to Water

Hey friends and family!

George Wu, Jeff Liu, Mike Jin, Tan Nguyen, Javier Pordoy and I have decided to challenge ourselves to a fitness regime of running/hiking a combined 2019 miles from July 1, 2018, until the start of 2019. I know a schedule of approximately 2 miles a day per person doesn’t sound like a lot, but for a group of aging men with a million excuses to distract ourselves with, this is a commitment that will seriously require some dedication.

To hold us accountable, and to supplement our efforts with a worthwhile cause, we would like your help! For those interested, we request a donation pledge to the Charity:Water (a nonprofit which helps bring clean water to third world countries in need). This is not an immediate donation, as if our crew of ragtag athletes can not reach our goal, our team will match the pledged donations and donate on your behalf. If we do, then we would like you to proceed with your donation (whether it be directly to the site, or through us).

Donations can be of any value, it’s just the thought that counts! Let us know if you want to participate!
